Following on from the fibre problem yesterday evening our Sheffield - London link was restored within 90 minutes and has been monitored overnight without problem. Our resilient connectivity paths worked as designed and as a result this issue did not impact service.

Appproximately one hour ago some customers may have experienced a small outage of around 2 minutes. This was caused by a failure of one of our fibre connections to London. Once detected by our routers all traffic passing over the fibre was switched to an alternate route. Around 30% of our traffic will have been effected by this issue. We will post further updates as we receive them.

Some dedicated server customers may be unable to connect to their servers. The cause of this power failure to one of our access switches. We are currently working to replace the failed part and service will be restored as quickly as is possible. Read more » | |
