How do I install an SSL certificate on my website?
Posted by Matthew Whittaker on 13 June 2007 10:43 AM
First thing you need to check is whether you have an exclusive IP address or a shared IP address.  To use your own SSL certificate you will need to have an exclusive IP address for your website, please check you have a hosting package that includes an exclusive IP address.  If you do not have an exclusive IP address you can easily upgrade your package to include one via your idaq control panel - please go to the Upgrade Center, or request help from the iDAQ support team if you are unsure.

You can order your SSL certificate from iDAQ please see our SSL product pages here:

https://www.idaq.com/ssl

Once you have placed your order and we have all the right details, the iDAQ support team will help you install the certifcate on your hosting account.

If you do not have a hosting subscription with iDAQ, or you do not require help with the installation, then your certifcate will be emailed to you.
