Now is a great time to protect your .uk domain names.
Recently Nominet, the registry for .uk domain names, has changed its policy for the registration of .uk names. This includes .co.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk, .ltd.uk, .plc.uk and other restricted ccTld's. Previously these domains could only be registered for 2 years however now these can be registered for between 1 and 10 years.
We have updated our online systems to cater for these changes. You can now register new .uk domains for 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 years. You can also renew existing domains for a period not exceeding 10 years. For new registrations you can select the registration period in our online store, for existing registrations you can change the renewal period from within your Idaq control panel.
To change an existing domain please go to:
My Account > Subscriptions > 'DOMAIN NAME' > Renewal Settings
And select the period you wish the next renewal to be. If you wish to leave the domain renewal period at 2 years you need to do nothing.
If you wish to extend the registration period immediately please make the changes as per the previous instructions and then go to:
My Account > Subscriptions > 'DOMAIN NAME' > Generate Renewal Order.
Remember that the time remaining on your registration and the new renewal order cannot exceed 10 years in total.
Once the renewal order is created please make payment from the 'My Account' tab.
To log into your Idaq control panel please go to: http://secure.idaq.com/cp
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at email@example.com or call us on 0844 4146060.
Thank you for your time.
